Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Invoice Inspector iOS application ("the app", "we", "our", or "us"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Invoice Inspector is an AI-powered tool that analyzes auto repair invoices. When you submit an invoice photo, our AI examines each line item and provides estimated typical price ranges based on available market data.
Important: The analysis results are estimates for informational purposes only. They are not financial, legal, or professional advice. Actual repair costs vary by location, vehicle, parts quality, and other factors.
2. Payments and Refunds
Pricing: Each invoice analysis is a one-time, consumable purchase. The current price is displayed in the app before purchase.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted to Apple according to their App Store refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly.
No Subscriptions: There are no recurring charges. You pay only when you choose to analyze an invoice.
3. User Responsibilities
By using the app, you agree to:
- Provide data (including invoice images, vehicle information, and comments) that you have the right to submit
- Submit clear, legible photos of actual auto repair invoices
- Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or misuse the app
- Not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
Photo Quality: You are responsible for ensuring that submitted photos are clear, properly lit, and contain a valid auto repair invoice. If you submit a non-invoice image, blurry photo, or unreadable document, the analysis may fail or produce inaccurate results. No refunds will be provided for analyses where the submitted image was not a clear, readable auto repair invoice.
4. Accuracy and Limitations
While we strive to provide accurate price estimates, you acknowledge that:
- AI analysis may contain errors or inaccuracies
- Analysis quality depends directly on the clarity and legibility of the submitted photo
- Submitting non-invoice images or low-quality photos may result in failed or incorrect analysis
- Price estimates are based on general market data and may not reflect your specific situation
- Results should not be the sole basis for disputing charges with a repair shop
- We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the analysis
5. Intellectual Property
The Invoice Inspector app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Artem Ivanov. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
You retain ownership of any invoice images and data you provide. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the analysis. Your data is also processed by Google Gemini for AI analysis; their use of data is governed by the Google Terms of Service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Analysis results will be accurate or complete
- The service will meet your specific requirements
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVOICE INSPECTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ANALYSIS IN QUESTION.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also retain any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
